Shop Fit-Out Cleaning Project: Pets At Home

One of our latest shop fit-out cleaning projects, a Pets At Home store, has us working for Harvey Shopfitters, a leading UK shopfitting company with national coverage. Harvey Shopfitters have an impressive portfolio of some of the largest UK retail brands including Sainsbury, Costa Coffee, Nando’s and Pets At Home.

We are grateful to have the opportunity to work with Harvey’s on such large and exclusive projects. The supply of our expert shop fit-out cleaning services, to deliver exceptional results, ahead of time, has played a crucial part in Harvey and Simply Cleaning acquiring further contracts of similar standing from the existing client base, while new clients are noticing our success and qualities. 

Shopfitting cleaning projects have become a large portion of our overall cleaning contracts and is continually growing.

Our latest retail shop fit-out cleaning contact, has our professional team of fit-out cleaning contractors, travelling to towns and cities all across the UK to clean the latest refurbished Pets AT Home stores, usually located in retail outlets.

Never a small feat! As you may know, these retail outlets can often be large, meaning an extensive cleaning plan has to be composed to ensure the entire property is left thoroughly cleaned to the client’s specifications.  Our second challenge, though one we have always succeed on, is the short turn-around time our clients require us to complete each phase of the fit-out cleaning process – tight deadlines are no issue for us!

We always have enough experienced fit-out cleaners on standby and the very best and latest in cleaning technologies to ensure the project is always completed on-time and to the exact specifications, our client require. 

The Fit-Out Cleaning Process

The Builders Clean:

The first fit-out cleaning phase included the bulders clean, the initial clean of the premises. The build clean involves removing dust, debris and paint from all types of surfaces and from right across the store, both on the shop floor and the back of house, such as staff rooms, storerooms and managers offices. 

The build clean is a phase where the fit-out is still very much a work in progress, often a week or two until it is complete and ready to hand over to the customer. 

The builders clean ensures that the fit-out contractor can move seamlessly towards the latter phases of the construction process – working toward the finishing touches. 

In most instances our team have to be in the store, ready to go to complete the phase within a single day. Working from top to bottom. Our fit-out cleaning team are IPAF certified, capable of cleaning at height, reaching the hardest to get at surfaces, to ensure a comprehensive clean internally and externally. 

On the externals, our team would clean down the cladding using either pressure washing systems or reach and wash water-fed pole systems. Again, these systems would also be used for the canopy that sits atop the stores front doors, and signage will be washed clean too.

The Sparkle Clean:

The second phase of the shop fit-out cleaning comprises the sparkle clean. Again, the timescale to deliver the results are often short, but we always have and always will achieve them. 

The sparkle clean is the final clean to the property, ready to then hand over the keys to the customer. The result of the clean must be perfect in every way, nothing must be unpolished. We often work painstakingly throughout the day and often throughout the night to get the job done. The sparkle clean, brings the whole project together, highlighting the quality workmanship that has gone into, often many many weeks of work. Walking through the front doors of the store we envision the customer in awe, we always go that extra mile to ensure the customer will be ecstatic to move into their new workplace.
