info@simply-cleaning-uk.comSimply Cleaning has yet again completed another retail & shop fit-out cleaning project for shopfitting contractor Weatherhead, this time for a large Co-op supermarket refurbishment in Hereford.
Weatherhead has secured large contracts refurbishing stores across the nation for one of the UK’s largest supermarket chain, Co-op. Weatherhead have consistently delivered exceptional results across every single project for supermarket chain Co-op and with their success, Co-op has awarded them the majority of their shop refurbishment contracts nationwide.
Simply Cleaning’s close relationship with Weatherheard has gone from strength-to-strength, over the years. Through our strong determination in attaining the highest of standards in how we operate and in our outcomes, this has resulted in Weatherhead assigning us as the cleaning contractor for many, if not most, of these projects, helping them to achieve their targets and win further contracts with Co-op.
Shop fit-out projects, like this, will often see us travel all across the UK. We frequently travel wherever we are needed to ensure the project is finished, with the care and quality we provide and within the timescale our client require.
This project, at Co-op, Hereford, had a two-phase cleaning schedule. The first phase consists of a builders clean, where a team of our shop fit-out cleaners, removed dust, debris and paint from surfaces and floors. This phase also entails a clean to the store’s frames and windows, both internally and externally.
As this project, in Hereford, happened to be one of larger sized Co-op stores, it naturally meant that more labour was required to complete the work to the necessary standards, but we still managed to complete it to the tight deadline, with no issues.
The builders clean involved two of our shop fit-out cleaning teams spending a full day on site, bringing together all of the hard work and effort carried out by the other trades and the shop fit-out contractor – Weatherhead. The build clean allows the principle contractor or trades to snag any cosmetic work within the building, as cleaning will clear any dust and debris, uncovering any surface for a better visual of the finished work.
The second and final cleaning phase, the sparkle clean, ensures that all of the work, inside and out, can be presented at its best.
The sparkle clean is the phase in which we must focus on the fine detail. The whole building should shine throughought, leaving the perfect polished finish across the store, ready to hand over to the customer.
Our professional shop fit-out cleaners follow a set procedure when cleaning any refurbished shop, such as this one. Always starting form height and working down to the ground, using a methodical approach and equipment that ensures their safety and those working around them.
We are particularly careful with the types of chemical cleaning agents that we use to clean a store, especially where there is food involved. Simply Cleaning always build site specific risk assessments and method statements, along with COSHH asessements, for all shop fit-out projects.
Window cleaning is carried out for a second time, both internally and externally, leaving them clean, clear and streak-free.
Our retail shop fit-out cleaning services also include cleaning to external signage, cladding and canopies.
We ensure that the externals are thoroughly cleaned using our purified water-fed pole systems – leaving zero watermarks and a flawless finish.
