Our Latest Contract with Freeman Homes – Severnbank

Our construction cleaning contracts for housebuilders are ever-expanding and go from strength to strength.  

A new contract was acquired towards the end of last year with building contractor Freeman Homes for their Severnbank development, located in the village of Newnham on Severn, Gloucestershire. 

Severnbank, situated on top of a gently rising stretch of land, and with a stunning view overlooking the River Severn, is a unique development with a collection of 80 homes from 1-bedroom apartments, to 2, 3, 4, and 5-bedroom houses.

A little over 16 miles from the Village you can gain access to the M5 motorway for northbound travel towards Birmingham and the North, or southbound towards Bristol and the South West 

The village, with many listed buildings, is steeped in rich history. The Romans built roads through this area, and at a later stage, the Anglo-Saxons established a permanent settlement there. The Normas built fortifications, including a motte-and-bailey, and it then became a major port during the medieval era with trading links to Ireland. Henry II of England staged an invasion of Ireland from Newnham – one account claimed 400 ships and 5000 men set sail from this port to Ireland. 

In the village you will find shops selling local crafts, antiques, books, porcelain and pottery. There is a village post office, village stores, pubs, as well as a delicatessen and a library.
