Greensquare Homes at Malmesbury – Our Latest Project

Our new contract for Greensquare Homes, Kings Meaws development, is now underway with regularly scheduled cabin cleaning to sites office and welfare facilities. 

Our latest contract with housebuilder Greensquare Homes for the construction cleaning of their Kings Meaws development, situated in Malmesbury Wiltshire.

The new development is located just off priory roundabout on the B4042 and behind the A429, which leads directly to junction 17 of the M4 motorway, which is just over 5 miles away.

Sitting on the edge of Malmesbury, the market town is steeped with history, becoming prominent in the Middle Ages as a centre for learning, focused around Malmesbury Abbey. Sitting at the southern entrance to the Cotswolds, Malmesbury is said to be the oldest continually inhabited town in England.

Æthelstan (Athelstan), King of the Anglo-Saxons and later Kind of the English – the first King of England – was buried at Malmesbury Abbey when he died in 939 AD. His son, King Alfred the Great (848/49 – 899) made Malmesbury a fortified burgh (settlement), one of 22 strong points developed, for defence against the Vikings.

The term borough, likely stems from Alfred’s Burhs system – making Malmesbury one of the first boroughs in England and with 1000 years of rich history.

Greensquare Homes at Kings Meaws is set to build 27 new homes, which will comprise of two, three and four-bedroom homes for the over 55s, perfect for individuals and  couples.

Though the development is in its early phase, with the groundworks just underway, we have begun the regularly scheduled cabin cleaning to the sites management office and welfare facilities.

As the site progresses, we will take on further contracted works at the site, in time, this will include build cleaning, sparkle cleaning and window cleaning to each property across the development.

We also have the contract for the construction cleaning of Greensquare Homes’ Hawthorn Meadow development, located in Marlborough, Wiltshire.
