Bristol Hospital Upgrade By BAM Construct – Hospital Cleaning

Simply Cleaning’s construction cleaning team starts work on the University Hospital Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) extensive upgrades for construction giant BAM Construct. 

Our team of CSCS cleaners are on site daily to carry out a range of cleaning duties – which include build cleaning to the hospital wards, corridors, staff rooms and patient waiting areas. 

We began working at the site over a year ago, carrying our daily office cleaning and site welfare cleaning to the sites facilities for the construction staff – both management and trades.

Progression at the site has been rapid, strict deadlines being fulfilled by Bam Construct has meant we are now well underway conducting the post-construction cleaning to the internals and externals of the hospital’s new ward.

The new hospital development, once opened, will become home to several facilities including those for haematology, cancer and oncology, a cardiology research unit, and the contractor has now commenced on site for its first scheme, a Cath Lab facility which includes extending the Trust’s cardiology ward capacity with extensions to two existing wards. 

Our hospital cleaning program, as you may fathom, involves strict methods to achieve a very particular outcome, due to the nature of what the facilities will be used for once complete – every surface must be sterile. 

Our team of CSCS certified cleaners have worked previously on hospital cleaning projects, including the NHS Nightingale Hospital project, located in the city of Exeter.
